  • Are all parts of your cakes edible? All except for support stands and wire armatures may be eaten, but make sure to ask when ordering so we can clarify.
  • How much cake do I need? The three most important pieces of information needed to answer this question are: when do you need it, how many people do you need to serve, and what is your budget.
  • How much lead time to get a wedding cake? Minimum two weeks, more during busy season, but give us as much lead time as possible, particularly for multi-tiered cakes.
  • What's the shelf-life of the treats? As long as they're kept in an airtight container, at least a month - longer if they're wrapped.
  • Can you do dairy- or sugar-free? LOL, no.
  • Can you do gluten-free? LOL, yes! Custom cake orders only, but sure.
  • Do you offer white-label treats or mini-cakes? Certainly! Just drop us a line and we'll talk.
  • What's your delivery area? Delivery within 30 minutes of Asheville is included with custom cake orders. Outside of that area, additional mileage fees will have to be calculated. Reach out with an address and we'll talk.
  • How many cakes have you made? Chef Mel stopped counting at 4,000, but that was in 2017, so...
  • What's your return policy? Clear communication, attention to detail, and quality control should mean that returns are never necessary. That said, we're only human and mistakes can happen. As a small business, we rely on customer satifaction for repeat orders; if you're unhappy with any aspect of your order, let us know and we'll figure it out.
